A unique feature of our program is CareerCafe — a relaxed virtual space where you can connect with our LiftHER mentors, a vetted network of professionals eager to share their insights. These are casual informational interviews to explore your field, meet industry professionals, and learn from their journeys.
We know how frustrating it can be to send countless LinkedIn requests without responses. Our LiftHERs have committed to generously sharing their time and expertise to help you kickstart your career. We connect you and help you prepare for a meaningful chat.
When you join CareerCafe, we work with you to develop a strategic networking plan that includes access to CareerCafe. All CareerCafe participants are required to complete our Networking 101 workshop to ensure you're ready to maximize these networking opportunities with LiftHERs and others beyond our network. Think of this us teaching you how to network and giving you a sandbox to practice in.
Once you get access to CareerCafe, the process is super easy.
Step 1: Weekly or Monthly Matches
Each week or month (depending on your membership), you'll receive three LiftHER profiles tailored to your interests and career stage. If you prefer to skip a week or month, just inform your coach.
Step 2: Select a Match
Choose one LiftHER to meet and share your discussion topics. We’ll confirm the meeting and send you a calendar invite.
Step 3: Meet Your LiftHER
Join the meeting at the scheduled time. While these conversations are casual, they remain professional, so arrive on time, dress appropriately, and be respectful. If you need to reschedule, notify us ASAP. Ghosting is not tolerated.
Step 4: Repeat
The process repeats each week or month.
