Linda Liu

I'm a former education executive and international education expert turned entrepreneur and career coach. As an immigrant, the first in my family to attend college and often the only AAPI voice in leadership, I am deeply committed to creating opportunities for others, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds.

I began my career in IT consulting and then management consulting with Deloitte, later taking on leadership roles at iconic education organizations like College Board. There, I forged key partnerships such as with Khan Academy which led to Official SAT Practice with Khan Academy, launched the India Global Alliance which expanded College Board’s footprint in India, and drove the organization’s digital assessment strategy which led to the launch of the digital SAT. After College Board, I joined a study abroad organization where, I established an ambitious vision and strategy to scale the organization's global internship programs. What has energized me most throughout my career is advancing access and equity for low- and middle-income students, refugees, and international students from underserved backgrounds. 

Having benefited from mentorship, professional connections, and the opportunity to take on challenging work—often by chance—I’m now committed to ensuring young women, particularly those from immigrant-connected backgrounds, can access the same opportunities with intentionality and support. This experience has shaped my approach to career coaching, where I offer guidance, mentorship, and strategic networking to help young women build the skills and connections they need to succeed. 

I hold an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in Economics and East Asian Studies from the University of Chicago. I’m excited to shape LiftHER Career into a platform that empowers young women to succeed from day one, with the career skills and networks they need to thrive.
